TANN Nevskiy opens

Russia

TANN Nevskiy, the most recent factory of the TANN-Group, celebrated its official opening ceremony on September 8, 2011 in Pskov, Russia. The event had a wide list of participants including authorities, contractors and customers.

The TRIERENBERG HOLDING AG is investing in the latest printing and converting technology and imported most of its equipment from EU-countries. For the first time in Russia, a rotogravure printing factory will run a complex solvent recovery unit with a combination of filtering and distillation. This additional investment will guarantee that the air exhaust is absolutely free of any pollution or odor. Main activities will be certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in order to meet the high standards of the tobacco industry.
TANN Nevskiy started the production of tipping papers in Russia earlier this year. Single and multicolor rotogravure printing on tipping paper with micro/macro laser perforation and electro perforation is feasible at the production site in Pskov. At the first stage of the plant approximately 80 jobs will be created.
TANN Nevskiy will serve as hub for future activities for the group in the Russian Federation. The mission is to become a leader serving the cigarette industry with the highest quality tipping Papers available.
