Croatian tobacco company TDR, is to construct a €30 million (US$41.3 million) factory in Iran in partnership with Iranian Tobacco Company. The factory, situated in the northern Iranian town of Sari, will start construction in 2011 and will target the southwest Asia market with a capacity of 6.5 billion cigarettes a year. The plant will produce TDR brands that are already sold in Iran, such as Respect, and develop a new brand with its Iranian partner.

First Organic Cigarette Debuts in China
